So talking about weather starting from late October
天気のお話ですが、10月後半から

So today we’re going to take a look at phrases um expressing that “Samui” in English.
今日はその寒いを表現する色々なフレーズをみていきたいと思います。
And we’re going to go over in two groups of phrases
今回は、2つのグループに分けてフレーズを見ていきたいと思います。
one is using the word cold
一つは、寒いの言葉を使ったもの。
in another group how can we express cold using different words
そしてもう一つのグループでは、「寒い」以外の言葉を使ってどう表現できるか見ていきたいと思います。

coldを使った例文
Alright so first let’s take a look at phrases using the word cold.
まず最初にcoldを使った表現を見ていきましょう。
So the basic phrase that a lot of people might say is this phrase.
まず、みなさんがよく言いそうなフレーズは、こちらかもしれません。
「寒い」にしても「ちょっと寒い」や「すっごく寒い」といった表現をしたいと思いますよね。
So let’s add some words and see how we can express those too.
なので、言葉をそこに足してどのように表現できるか見ていきたいと思います。
But it’s just a little bit so it’s not that bad but
でもちょっとだから、そんなに酷くはないけど
yeah, it’s it’s just a bit cold.
うん。ちょっと寒いだけ。
Oh my god. What happened today?
んもう。今日は何があったの？
It’s cold.

Oh my god. I didn’t bring my jacket.
なんてこったあ。ジャケット持ってこなかった〜。
Oh my god. Someone please bring me a blanket or something please.
いや〜。誰か私にブランケットか何かを持ってきて〜。
I think I’m gonna turn into ice.
氷になっちゃうと思う。
Maybe young people might like to use this phrase.
きっと若い方はこのフレーズ使いたいと思います。
Oh my god. What’s wrong with the weather today?
うひょ。今日の天気どうしちゃいました？
Jeez. If I knew it’s gonna get this cold I would have brought like thicker jacket.
まじかよー。こんなに寒くなるってわかってたら、もっと集めのジャケット持ってきたのにー。
Whoa so cold.
うわっ、すっごい寒い。
Also you can express it like this too.
他にもこんな風にも表現することもできます。

And because it’s cold we can say things like this too
そして、寒いのでこんなことも言えます。
I brought mine too.
私は、自分の持ってきたよ。
Yeah, you should bring your jacket too.
うん、あたなもジャケット持ってきた方がいいと思うよ。
cold以外を使った表現
Alright so from here let’s take a look at phrases using different words than cold and expressing cold.

I actually kind of like this mood of the winter.

Yeah, I guess it’s officially winter now.
