Today I want to give a focus on “I hope” and “hopefully”.
今日は”I hope”と”hopefully”に焦点を当てたいと思います。
So let’s take a look at them together.

“I hope~” と”Hopefully~” の使い方
So how we use them is “I hope something something”
どう使うかというと”I hope なになに”
“hopefully something something”
“hopefully なになに”
and in this something you can say pretty much whatever you want
なになにのなかに何でも言いたいことを入れられます。
Alright so now let’s go over some example sentences with chants.
では例文をチャンツと一緒に見ていきましょう。
“I hope~” と”Hopefully~” を使ったフレーズ
みなさん、素敵な日を過ごしていますように
Alright let’s do the first phrase.
では最初のフレーズです。
I always say this in my video and the phrase is
私のビデオでもいつも言っているこのフレーズです。
And also you can use “hopefully” and say
“hopefully”を使ってこう言うこともできます。
（プレゼント）気に入ってくれるといいな
Alright next phrase.
では次のフレーズです。
When you give a gift to someone you can add this phrase together.
誰かにプレゼントをあげるとき、このフレーズを一緒につけ足すことができます。
And again you can replace it with hopefully and say
同じように”hopefully”と置きかえて言うことができます。
電車混んでないといいなぁ
Alright next phrase.
では次のフレーズです。
When you travel by train this phrase might come handy.
電車で出かける際にこのフレーズが役にたつかもしれません。
I hate hate hate crowded train.
混雑した電車はほんっっとうに嫌なんです。
It makes me feel like I’ve been punished for no reason so
理由なしに罰せられてる気がしちゃって、
I don’t know. I don’t do well with crowded trains.
わからないけど。混雑した電車とはうまく付きあえません。
My face is literally always like, like this.
私の顔はほんといつもこんな感じ
雨早くやむといいなぁ
Alright next phrase.
では次のフレーズ。
When it’s raining you might say this.
雨が降っているとき、こう言うかもしれません。
And again for this phrase too.
このフレーズも同じです。
You can just replace it and say
置き換えていうことができます。
ご飯美味しいといいなぁ
Alright next phrase.
では次のフレーズ。
When you go to restaurant and after you order the food
レストランにいって食べ物をオーダーして
while you’re waiting for your food to come out you might say this
食事がくるのを待っている間にこう言うかもしれません。
And again you can also say
同じように、こう言うことができます。
Yay. We did all the chants together.
イエーイ！チャンツ全部やりました！
そういえば！”I hope”と”Hopefully”って違う？
And by the way you might wonder what’s the difference between “I hope” and “hopefully”
ところで”I hope”と”hopefully”の違いって何？って思っていらっしゃる方もいるかもしれません。
or maybe you might not even wonder.
もしくは不思議にも思ってないかもしれませんが。
But anyways
いずれにせよ
I put my thoughts into it too and then try to think of like

like “Do we use it differently?”
別々で使ってる？
But the more I think about it
でも考えれば考えるほど
the conclusion is this
結論はこうでした。
I guess it’s the same.
これは一緒だ。
But this is just my personal opinion. Um.
でもこれはあくまで私の意見なので。
you know some people might explain it differently
他の人は違った説明をするかもしれません
saying like the nuance are different
ニュアンスは違うよとか、
like the way you expressing it, like it’s, it
actually means different.
実は表現が違うとか、意味が違うよとか。
But I tried, you guys.
考えてみたんです。
Like I tried to think a lot like are they different, the same?
違うの？一緒なの？とたくさんたくさん考えてみたんです。
But the more I think about it honestly
考えれば考えるほど、正直なところ
I don’t know. Like I mean I don’t know.
わかりません。ようは、わかりません。
I think, I think I’m saying it I’m using it basically the same.
自分が実際言っている時や使い方、基本的に同じだなと思いました。
So my answer is same.
なので答えは一緒です。
So I’m using it basically like with the same meaning so
私は同じ意味で使っています。
Yup. That’s me. That’s my answer.
